It is easy for a new college student to fall into bad eating habits while they are away from home. These weight loss tips for college students are written for you to identify your bad habits that you have started and how you can correct these habits before they go way to far... you know what I mean!

It really is not a difficult task of figuring out what you should or should not consume to keep yourself trim and fit. And Yea I know, I know, it is easier said than done, especially in college and at the prime of your life. So let's get started on these weight loss tips for college students and let's identify some reasons you may have put on a little extra weight this past semester.

1. Eating deserts cafeteria after dinner, after lunch and breakfast for some. Yes, I've actually seen a group eating waffles with whipped cream for breakfast. Probably tastes good, but certainly not good for the waste line.
2. Too much partying and not enough sleep. Believe it or not, you can lose weight while you sleep.
3. Late night takeout food.
4. Drinking soda like it was water instead of drinking healthy H20 to flush out last nights take out food.
5. Beer, Beer, Beer Tastes good and is a lot of fun, but not so good if you are trying to remain fit.
6. Park the car and walk a little bit, get some exercise and de-stress yourself. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Walk to class. Walk to the parties.
7. A bagel with cream cheese and a coffee while you are running to class is not a breakfast of champs.
8. Sleeping through breakfast and lunch on the weekends and piling on the food at dinner is no way to compensate for the other missed meals.
9. One more time, get more exercise!

These are just a few weight loss tips for college students. I am sure if I sat around here for the rest of the night I could figure out more, but I think you get the point that it is really common sense to eat right, get exercise, party and have fun, but do it in moderation.
